DS2 E-House Power Station Expansion
We executed a turnkey expansion of the DS2 E-House power distribution station located in the Majnoon Oil Field. The project scope included installing new medium-voltage switchgear, laying power and control cables, and deploying a full fiber-optic communication system. Our works also covered excavation, cable trenching, terminations, testing, and full commissioning to ensure safe and reliable operation.
The expansion enhanced electrical reliability, increased load-handling capacity, and improved the overall performance of the facility’s distribution network. This project demonstrates ECD’s strong capabilities in medium-voltage systems, integrated electrical works, and advanced commissioning services.

The Challenge Of Project
The project involved complex electrical expansion works inside an active oil-field facility, requiring strict coordination with operations and HSE teams. Working around existing live systems demanded precise planning, safe trenching, controlled excavation, and seamless integration of new MV switchgear and fiber-optic systems. Despite tight schedules and operational constraints, ECD successfully completed all installation, testing, and commissioning activities while maintaining full compliance with safety standards.
