ECD Vision at IPIW 2025 — Iraq Petroleum Industry Workshop
ECD Vision joins decision-makers, operators, and service providers at SPE's two-day workshop in Baghdad on innovations shaping Iraq's upstream oil and gas sector.
Engineering Vision for Construction Development & General Contracting L.L.C-FZ (ECD Vision) participated in Iraq’s Petroleum Industry Workshop (IPIW 2025) — Today’s Innovations for Tomorrow’s Challenges — held in Baghdad on 27–28 October 2025 under the patronage of Iraq’s Prime Minister and the Ministry of Oil, and technically organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Central Iraq Section.
The workshop brought together authorities, IOCs, national operators, engineering contractors, and technology providers to address field development, production optimisation, environmental stewardship, and investment opportunities across Iraq’s mature and marginal fields.
ECD Vision representatives engaged in strategic panel discussions and technical sessions covering EPC delivery models, power infrastructure for oilfield operations, overhead transmission and renewable integration, and HSE-aligned project execution. The company highlighted its Majnoon portfolio — including 33kV OHTL delivery and Iraq’s first fully solar-powered camp — as practical examples of integrated engineering solutions for demanding field environments.
Participation reinforced ECD Vision’s commitment to knowledge exchange, local content development, and long-term partnerships with Basra Oil Company (BOC), Anton Oil Services (AOS), and other stakeholders driving sustainable growth in Iraq’s energy sector.
